My Client's are my greatest asset. Without You, i am nothing! To all of You who have helped me to make this business possible, I thank You!               “ The Continuation of A Family Legacy”

Prior to moving to Idaho in 1995 and opening my own real estate company, I had an extensive background in the real estate industry that now consists of more than 35 years of experience. I am well versed in many facets of the real estate profession including that of Sales Agent, Principal Broker, Investor, and Developer.  I also served in Business Development and as Vice President/Manager for three Major Title Insurance Companies in Los Angeles, Montana and Alaska.  My Father  Charles L. Canfield Sr. was the original founder of Canfield Realty which began operation in 1950. He was a State Director for the California Real Estate Association (CREA) and was former President of the Pomona Valley Board of Realtors. I began my real estate career working in my Family's small Realty Firm of Canfield Realty which consisted of my Father, Mother, Brother, wife and a few close friends.  My wife Pam, who is my partner and best friend assists me in real estate and all my other life endeavors. Together we have a very large and wonderful Family consisting of 12 children, 7 grandchildren and hopefully many more on the way (I have just been informed that there is at least one new one coming, hurray)! Along with an extensive background in the real estate industry, I attended college at Arizona State University and the University of Phoenix where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. While in college I acquired an Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instructor Certificate.  I have logged more than 7,500 hours as a pilot, Commercial Airline Captain, First Officer, Flight Engineer, Chief Pilot and Flight Instructor. While at Arizona State University, I received special honors and served as President of the Intercollegiate Aviation Fraternity of Alpha Eta Rho.  I later served as Vice President of the Kiwanis Club, was an active member of  Toastmasters and served several years on the Board of Directors as Vice President and President of the Hayden Idaho, Chamber of Commerce. I am currently President of Canfield Development Corporation and Northwest Real Estate, Inc., dba Canfield Realty. I also serve as Chairman of the Board and CEO for The North Forty Trust, dba Liahona Air which is a nonprofit entity designed to provide emergency relief to disaster victims, missionary outreach and help for aspiring youth who are in search of reaching high aspirations in life through missionary efforts, aviation related activities and service to others.
